What does “seats” mean?
A seat is one user who can sign in and access your organization’s QuanFi VMS workspace.
Simple examples
| People in your org | Seats used |
|---|---|
| Only you | 1 seat |
| You + one colleague | 2 seats |
| You + two colleagues | 3 seats |
Seats are not:
- Number of vendors
- Number of documents
- Number of times you log in
Plan limits (B2B)
| Plan | Seats |
|---|---|
| Free | 1–2 |
| Solo / Small Biz | 3–8 |
| Mid-Size Biz | 9–20 |
| Enterprise | 21+ (custom) |
Rule: The 3rd person requires a paid plan.
Why seats matter
- Security: each person has their own login and role
- Billing: price is based on how many people need access
- Audit: actions are tied to a user, not a shared password
Do not share passwords to “save a seat.” That violates acceptable use and breaks accountability.
Where to see seat usage
Open Team. You should see something like 2 / 2 seats on Free, or 5 / 8 on Solo/Small.
